In August 2023, 15 organisations across South Yorkshire were accredited as Menopause Friendly Employers
The Menopause Friendly Accreditation shows that these organisations have a clear understanding of how menopause can have an effect at work and shows that they care about the wellbeing of your colleagues.
Committing to being menopause friendly means we are working towards long-term, sustainable change in your workplace, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone can be at their best. It means we'll find it easier to retain talent and to recruit new colleagues, as a place where people want to work.
The Menopause Friendly Accreditation is the mark of excellence and recognised the highest standard of achievement, one which means we've satisfied our highly qualified independent panel of judges that our organisations are offering the right support.
Changing the way we think about menopause and the way we support it can often mean a cultural shift, embedding change in the long term. The Menopause Friendly Accreditation shows that we have achieved this.
Our organisations employing 50,954 colleagues have worked very hard to gain accreditation status and we are very proud of the work that has been taking place. The 15 organisations that are accredited are:

To maintain the accreditation, these organisations will need to to resubmit evidence every three years.
