Patients of a Yorkshire and Humber based health and trust are being asked to nominate staff and volunteers for an award.
Patients and their carers who attend services provided by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) are being asked to nominate either a member of staff or team and a volunteer for awards that are part of the organisation’s staff annual RDaSHWay awards.
This year due to the coronavirus pandemic, RDaSH will be hosting its awards event differently. The awards will be held online and aired on October 1 at 3pm to give everyone the opportunity to watch video footage of the shortlisted entries to see who clinches the top accolades.
RDaSH now needs patients and carers to start voting for staff, teams and volunteers who deserve to win these awards.
Kay Batty RDaSH’s event organiser said: ‘These are awards, that the Trust presents to an individual or team that has shown an exceptionally caring, supportive and compassionate service to patients, their families and friends.
‘Our volunteers also do amazing things as they give their time to help others. We want to recognise this and need your help by nominating our volunteers whose contribution deserves recognition and acknowledgement. If you know someone please get in touch.’
The closing date for nominations is August 12 at 5pm.
