A Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire health trust has appointed a new Chief Operating Officer.
Michelle Veitch, currently Operations Director at Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, will take up the post at Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) from June 22.
Michelle started her career in the NHS via the NHS General Management Graduate Training Scheme and since then has undertaken a number of senior operational roles at Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals, Nottingham University Hospitals, Sheffield Teaching Hospitals and more recently at Hull.
Michelle said:” I’m really looking forward to the new role. It will be a pleasure to deliver excellent care to the patients who use the trust’s wide range of services.”
Michelle replaces Debbie Smith, who left the Trust in February to work at Cambridge and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust.

Michelle, will be bringing a broad range of experience and skills to our organisation and I look forward to welcoming her into such a key role at RDasH in June.
