Patients in Rotherham who use mental health services are being asked to go along to one of three drop-in sessions to have their say.
Patients who use Rotherham’s Access Team are being asked to find out about a new way the service will be delivered – which should make it better for them! The service is run by Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH).
The aim is to take services closer to patients. So instead of the whole team being based at Swallownest Court they will now work from Ferham Clinic, 149 Kimberworth Road, Rotherham, and Swallownest Court, Aughton Road, Swallownest and run clinics in RDaSH’s town centre building Centenary Clinic, Kenneth Street, Rotherham.
Rachel Hall, who is leading the work for RDaSH, said: “Please come along, hear about the improvements we’re making and let us know what you think! The changes should make the service better for you and easier to get along to.”
The drop in sessions will be held at:
- Centenary Clinic, Kenneth Street, Rotherham on January 27 between 9am and 1pm.
- Ferham Clinic, 149 Kimberworth Road on January 29 from 9am – 1pm.
- Swallownest Court, Aughton Road, Swallownest on January 30 from 9am – 1pm.
