Got spare time on your hands? Got a sewing machine?  If so, a local health Trust needs you!

Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) is calling for volunteers who would be willing to sew some re-usable face coverings for staff and volunteers to use when they are not at work and when they are out and about, for example shopping or on public transport.

Paul Barratt, Head of Estates and Facilities, said: “If you have a sewing machine and are willing to make a number of face coverings, please contact us as we can provide you with a pattern, the fabric and elastic to make these. If you don’t have access to a vehicle we can arrange for delivery and collection of these.

“We have received overwhelming support from our local communities since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic which we are so grateful for and this is the latest way that our wonderful communities are able to support us to help keep our staff and volunteers safe.”
