The shortlisted entries for the 2020 HSJ awards have been announced and include four entries from South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw.
The awards which are celebrating their 40th anniversary continue to be the most coveted accolade in UK healthcare, and the largest annual benchmarking and recognition programme for the health sector.
Professor Des Breen, Medical Director for the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw Integrated Care Partnership, said: “It is brilliant to see the fantastic variety of projects and services from our partners getting recognised at this year’s HSJ Awards.
“The awards are a great way to recognise and celebrate the ongoing hard work of healthcare services in our region in what has been a particularly tough year for the sector. This year’s entries particularly highlight the achievements that are possible through collaborative working and partnerships on a local level”.
The judging panel for the awards is made up of a diverse range of highly influential and respected figures in the healthcare community across the country.
Winners will be selected ahead of the ceremony, which will take place virtually in March 2021.
