Our system lead for population health and primary care, Maddy Ruff, opens this month's edition with a reflection on her own role within the ICS and renews her commitment to building on the fantastic work already taking place where you live, so that we can support everyone to live well, for longer and with the personalised support needed
In this edition we'd also like to bring your attention to the recently published NHS Long Term Plan as well as reflecitng on the process followed to award the Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust the regional contract to provide integrated urgent care services across the region for the next five years, including how members of our Citizens' Panel were involved in shaping the decision.
We also highlight how our colleagues in the region's Cancer Alliance have launched a photo appeal to help those affected by, and living with, cancer through images and shared experience.
