Brigitte is a dynamic and highly motivated professional who loves to work with individuals and teams, to improve their personal development as well as their Health and Wellbeing. Brigitte took on the position of Head of Health and Wellbeing for the South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw ICS in May 2021. Prior to this role she worked at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals in various roles. From 2016 she held the position of Assistant Operations Director for LEGION Care group, a unique role in the Trust at that level to lead on workforce issues to include Health and Wellbeing of staff. Brigitte qualified as a Diagnostic Radiographer and with her clinical background as well as her teaching, leadership and management qualifications she was able to support staff in their development and wellbeing. With her creative vision and affable personality, Brigitte is very keen to make a difference to the Health and Wellbeing of colleagues across the region and ensure they are empowered to look after themselves and others around them. Brigitte was born in Bethlehem, Palestine and speaks several languages all of which has helped her with leading on many overseas projects in health organisations in developing countries across three continents.
