The Health and Social Care Integration Hub had eight objectives from 2022/2023.
These included:
- To engage with ADASS and wider Partners across SY Places to agree overarching system level workforce plans and governance for Health and Care Integration
- Recruit SCI project officers at Barnsley and Doncaster LA's and identify clear objectives for the 12 month contract (12 months to start on appointment)
- To establish the recommendations from the FLP report
- Support the continued development and establishment of the Health and Social Care Academies/training opportunities in line with SY ICS objectives
- Identified training needs for social care partners and ensure funding routes to support this with evidence of usage
- Continue to support digital activity into social care such as ECHO
- Support the embedment of the NHS Commitment to Carers Programme. Inclusion and identification of working carers within workforce planning
- Support and develop the joint strategic approach to the Health and Wellbeing of the H&SC Workforce
