Project Aim - To scope and develop a programme that supports a Health and Social Care integrated workforce approach within South Yorkshire, to deliver connected, effective and efficient services to the community.

Project Objectives - Development of a robust workforce transformational programme with key areas of focus to withstand ongoing challenges of the future by working alongside systems partners, collaborations and delivering care in line with central government directives, national priorities, regional strategies and local partner plans for workforce.

Understanding the underlying issues which the project sets out to solve - A significant deficiency in alignment and development of an integrated workforce as per central government guidance with intentions speaking to efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity. The current South Yorkshire landscape contains inefficiently fragmented delivery of services, a characteristics of a challenged environment that facilitates a lack of drive for an integrated workforce. The workforce has been identified as needing significant support to develop skills, knowledge, inclusion in workable effective solutions to deliver efficient and timely services to the communities across South Yorkshire.

Future State - We will have a connected, effective and efficient caring workforce. It will be robust to withstand ongoing challenges of the future by working alongside each other supporting and delivering care in line with central government directives, national priorities, regional strategies and local partner plans for workforce.
