People Experience Team celebrates award win
We’re delighted to announce that our Programme Director of People Experience, Brigitte Kaviani, has won ‘Best Benefits Professional of the Year’ in the Employee Benefits Awards 2024.
The annual Employee Benefits Awards, which is in its 22nd year, acknowledges hard work carried out during 2023 by employers from a range of industries, recognising excellence in the reward, benefits and HR community, and celebrate organisations, teams and individuals that have made a significant impact through their reward and benefits strategies.
The NHS South Yorkshire People Experience Team are responsible for leading programmes of work that supports the mental health, wellbeing, retention and EDI of staff working in health and care across South Yorkshire.
They had been nominated and shortlisted for their achievements, including the development and implementation of our ‘Working together for Workforce Health and Wellbeing 3 year Roadmap 2024-27’ which will be instrumental in ensuring we all work together for the benefit of our colleagues and patients.
Brigitte said: “The awards came as a shock to me as we were up against some really big names such as Bank of America, Lidl and Tesco. I am very proud of my team for continuing to come up with innovative ways of working with all colleagues across all Health and Care sectors in South Yorkshire to help with wellbeing and retention initiatives with a focus on health inequalities, this award shortlist is testament to their efforts. Our thanks specifically goes to Christine Joy, Chief People Officer who has been very supportive of our work."
Brigitte was presented with her award at the ceremony in London on 14 June which she attended with her colleagues.
Well done to Brigitte and the team on their successes!
