Reflections and feedback received

  • 'I want to say what a fabulous event it was.  I took so much away from the day - it was engaging, informative, and provided a safe space to share experiences and learn from others.  I attended the Sleep and Brain Fog sessions.  Thank you again for such an inspiring and well-organised event'.

  • 'It was a fabulous event and I wanted to congratulate and thank the organisers and staff who ran it.  We got so much out of it and there was more that we would have loved to do, but couldn’t fit everything about the day.  Thank you to everyone involved and for all the freebies!!  They were a lovely bonus!!  The feeling of female solidarity and empowerment was amazing and the fact that it was all free of charge was incredible.  We came out having had new experiences and learning a lot and everyone we spoke to felt equally positive about the day.  Thank you to everyone involved and for all the freebies!!  They were a lovely bonus!!'

  • ‘Proud to attend this fantastic event hosted by the People Experience team at NHS South Yorkshire ICB, showing real commitment to raising awareness and support around menopause across South Yorkshire. The festival was full of inspiring stalls and workshops – I especially valued attending ‘The effects of menopause in South Asian women’ with Kathy Wilkinson and Dr Zanib Rasool (Steel City Community). So important to have these conversations’.

  • Hälsa Wellbeing recently supported Menofest 2025.  We had a stand for the day, ran 4 support groups and did a talk on Brain Fog and a Workshop on MSK and Menopause. The stall was very well attended all day and we received lots of questions around health and wellbeing during perimenopause, menopause and beyond.  The support groups were small numbers but seemed to have a big impact, creating a safe space in which people could talk about their experiences and share.   We heard stories from ladies who had not discussed their worries and concerns before attending a group.  We also had a number of “lightbulb” moments where women connected how they had been feeling to menopause. A lot of detail had clearly gone in to planning the day.  The staff had done an excellent job on organising this and making it successful, from the planning of the sessions to the lovely goody bags. There is clearly a need for support across South Yorkshire.  Menofest provided a lifeline for many women we saw during the event and we know that education is key to ensuring that people can navigate their menopause journeys in the future'.

  • 'What an incredible day at MenoFest2025! It was an absolute privilege to be part of such a powerful, inspiring and beautifully organised event, a day dedicated to celebrating menopause awareness, having open, honest conversations and empowering women across South Yorkshire and beyond. Massive congratulations to Brigitte Kaviani and her phenomenal team - Christine Joy, Caroline Branigan, Sarah Cooke, Amy Pope, Paris Pinnock-Cowell, Saqib Khan and Tim Newson on this incredibly successful inspiring event! The passion, ambition and vision they brought to life was truly something special. From start to finish, the day flowed seamlessly, packed with expert led sessions, insightful talks, interactive workshops and supportive conversations that left everyone feeling informed, uplifted and connected...The impact will continue long after the day ended'
