Advanced Clinical Practice
Advanced practice has had a remarkably busy couple of months, focussing our efforts on supporting employers to prepare for the upcoming commissioning round of new trainee Advanced practitioner training posts. Sarah, Cheryl and Jess Anderson delivered workshops to colleagues from the mental health and learning disability trusts to support their business and workforce plans alongside ensuring good governance is in place.
We have delivered sessions and met colleagues at the SY PCWTH practice manager conference and planned and hosted a diabetes conference and OSCE (exams in advanced practice) support sessions.
To conclude, Sarah was awarded her QNI Leadership course award whilst Cheryl received her award to join the Queens nurses.
