This time of year, is always very busy with onboarding and introducing our new trainee ACPs into their new roles. This year is no different.

To support their journeys, we have organised and delivered an ACP supervisor conference. We had 60 people in attendance and a packed agenda of subject matter experts delivering vital information to support and grow our new trainees. In addition to an aspiring ACP day to welcome our new trainees.

July also saw the publication of Sarah Fisher and Cheryl Jenkinson's first article showcasing the feedback and impact the South Yorkshire Advanced practice support programme has made to trainees and employers. Please have a read here!

Finally, Cheryl was awarded the prestigious Queens nurse title for her commitment to primary and community care. Our advanced practice team are now both Queens nurses!
