Flourish enterprises brought festive cheer to Balby on December 1 with their Christmas Fayre which took place at St Catherine’s House in the surrounding of Woodfield Park.
There was an array of activities for visitors to enjoy. These included a visit from Santa Claus who could be found in his grotto handing out presents to the younger visitors. Events also included writing letters to Santa, seasonal crafts and fairground rides.
Visitors were also invited to browse the gift stalls and take part in the tombola. There were plenty of Christmas treats to be enjoyed in the Café Flourish. As well as getting into the Christmas spirit visitors to the fayre were also helping to support one of Flourish Enterprises core goals to help individuals back into work, training or education.
Steve Gillman of Flourish Enterprises, said: “It was a huge success and everyone who came along thoroughly enjoyed themselves.”
