A leading nurse at a Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire health trust has announced she is set to retire in the coming months.
Tracey Wrench, the Executive Director of Nursing and Allied Health Professionals and Deputy Chief Executive, will leave Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) in March 2022.
Tracey, of St Johns, Wakefield, joined RDaSH from Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership Trust where she held the roles of Executive Director of Nursing and Quality and latterly, Chief Nurse and Chief Operating Officer. She had also previously worked for RDaSH.
Work is already underway to seek a new Director of Nursing and Allied Health Professionals. Tracey said: “I’ve loved my two-and-a-half-years at RDaSH in my current role. The Trust has a strong team of dedicated nurses and allied health professionals, as well as a whole host of other staff, who all work incredibly hard to deliver the best care possible for patients. I’ll be sad to go.”
Kathryn Singh, Chief Executive of RDaSH, said: “We will all miss Tracey for her excellent leadership and dedication to the Trust. I want to say a huge thank you to her for everything she has done for the Trust, for our patients and our staff over the last couple of years.”
