Our chief executive, Sir Andrew Cash, opens this month's edition with a reflection on the year gone and the look ahead to 2019. We know that this year is set to be an incredibly busy and challenging time. However we return with fresh determination and a renewed commitment to being consistently high performing, with patient care and the public at the heart of our decision making.
