Big hearted staff and patients at a Doncaster based health trust have raised more than £800 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Staff from across Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust (RDaSH) got out their bun and cake tins and baked a range of mouthwatering treats – all with one aim, to get the cash rolling in to help the cancer support charity.

Between them they have raised £812.30 with money still rolling in.

Aspire Drugs and Alcohol Service raised £204.94; HR and Finance Teams raised £435; Emerald Lodge at Bentley raised £134.36, Edlington District Nurses raised a further £88 and the Diamond Activity and Therapeutic Services on the Tickhill Road site raised £130.

Debbie Smith, Chief Operating Officer at RDaSH, said: “Our fabulous staff and patients have been so busy baking and selling cakes and holding raffles and collections all for an exceptional cause. Well done to them all.”
